Modern Paradise, May 5, 2006
Eden may be lost, but Ergenbright's insightful eye for beauty proves that much of paradise is still to be found. Amazingly beautiful nature photographs of every element can be found in this book: skies, bodies of water, cliffs, and even lava flows present the viewer with beauty that only a Supreme God could create. Ergenbright's modest introduction in the beginning of the book and his Biblical passages leave no doubt in regards to his devotion to God as the true artist here, but Ergenbright's own artistic talents certainly cannot be overlooked! I'm a huge lover of beautiful art and Ergenbright's uplifting Christian messages greatly added to the peacefulness of his breathtaking images, luring me into a state of blissful lethargy. This book is truly a wonderful testament of nature's beauty and I recommend it even if you are not a Christian; everyone can appreciate the beauty here, no matter what faith they are. J.R. This book is full of treats. Not only does it contain breathtaking pictures of God's artistic talent, but the photographer even gives details about how he took each shot. The back of the book is filled with what camera, filter, and setting he used. This is a must have for your coffee table. If you don't have a coffee table, you will want to get one!!! I came across this book while looking for a gift for a friend. I wanted a book that would show the glory of God but would also use the powerful Word of God. I was astounded by the impact this book has in both photography and the use of God's Word. I bought the only book in the store, ordered another one (so I could have one for myself) and will probably give this as a Christmas gift to most of my family and friends. Are any of these photographs available in poster format? I would love to hang some of these on my walls, with the verse from God's Word included.
